The SS Eraser+ addon tool allows users to Trim and/or Hide vector lines and outlines -- whilst using the Eraser function.
The tool is an enhancement to the built-in Eraser tool, and was developed to improve the process of cleaning-up freehand artwork, and to assist when creating unique visuals and shape structures.

Features & Tool Options:
This addon reintroduces a feature similar to the Trim ends function - that you may have seen in previous versions of Moho, with the added benefit of allowing you to use the function at any time, on any part of any vector stroke or shape outline.
The new feature also conveniently works with the eraser in the Freehand tool (*when the Control Key pressed*), and with Pen Tablets with Erase functions.
The tool will operate in one of two main modes...
1. Erase: The first being the standard eraser that you may be used to, which allows you to cut into, or across lines and shapes.
When you enable the Hide Edge feature, the strokes and outlines will not be deleted, but instead hidden when they are erased. This allows you to create stroke patterns and fully maintain the shape structure, including the fills.
2. Trim: The second main mode is the trim path mode, which allows you to remove excess lines, line ends, and outlines by deleting them. It works by removing lines up to their end point, or ... where they intersect with another line.
If you enable the Hide Edge feature, the lines and outlines will not be deleted, but instead hidden when they are trimmed.
The Trim mode also has an additional auto-weld option, which will join the lines, at the intersection of their cross points. Which can be useful when creating new shape structures.
All modes support Moho's variable brush sizes (use alt-click-drag to resize).

Version:
- version: 01.13 #550121 MH14+
- release: v1.13
- by Sam Cogheil (SimplSam)
Change Log:
- version: 01.01: Improved pick selection for very small brush sizes (i.e. 0.001)
- version: 01.12: Re-engineer (fix) Auto-Weld
- version: 01.13: minor code fix: localize function
Known Limitations:
- The Auto-Weld Trim feature works great with most structures, but can get confused when applied to complex shapes, with multiple joined/crossed/self-overlapping paths. These situations continue to be investigated.
